地藏菩萨，佛教四大菩萨之一，又称“地藏王菩萨”，秉持“地狱不空，誓不成佛；众生度尽，方证菩提”的大愿，是掌管地狱、超度亡灵、化解业障、庇佑家宅安宁的菩萨，性情慈悲、救苦救难，既能超度先祖、化解过往业障，也能庇佑在世亲人平安康健、远离灾厄，护佑家宅稳固、子孙顺遂，同时助力化解生活中的烦恼与阻碍，是民间祈愿家宅安宁、先祖安息、业障消散的核心菩萨。 Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, one of the Four Great Bodhisattvas in Buddhism, also known as “Ksitigarbha King Bodhisattva”, upholds the great vow of “If the hell is not empty, I vow not to become a Buddha; If all beings are not saved, I will not attain Bodhi”. He is a Bodhisattva who is in charge of hell, transcends the dead, resolves karmic obstacles and protects family peace. He is merciful and saves the suffering. He can not only transcend ancestors and resolve past karmic obstacles, but also protect living relatives from peace and health, stay away from disasters, protect family stability and descendants’ smoothness, and help resolve troubles and obstacles in life. He is the core Bodhisattva for people to pray for family peace, ancestors’ rest and karmic obstacles’ dissipation.
