韶关南华寺简介 | Nanhua Temple Introduction (Shaoguan)
南华寺（广东韶关曲江区曹溪），始建于南朝梁天监三年（502年），禅宗六祖慧能弘法与圆寂之地、南宗禅祖庭，供奉六祖真身像，有“东粤第一宝刹”之誉，是祈愿心性澄明、事业顺遂的圣地。 Nanhua Temple (Caoxi, Qujiang District, Shaoguan, Guangdong) was founded in 502 AD during the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasties. It is the place where the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, Huineng, propagated the Dharma and passed away, the ancestral court of the Southern School of Zen, enshrining the physical statue of the Sixth Patriarch, known as the “No.1 Temple in Eastern Guangdong”, a sacred place for praying for pure mind and smooth career.
